Softball Game Preview: Lake Center Christian Tiger vs. Windham Bombers

The Lake Center Christian Tiger will head out to challenge the Windham Bombers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lake Center Christian's last matchup with John F. Kennedy Catholic could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Tiger lost 16-10 to the Eagles.

Nora Sobitz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. Jillian Miller was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Windham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Garfield, falling 11-1.

Windham's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Lake Center Christian, they now have a losing record of 9-10.
