Recap: Eastern Randolph Wildcats vs. Thomasville Bulldogs
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Eastern Randolph Wildcats walked away with it. They blew past the Bulldogs 40-19. Winning may never get old, but Eastern Randolph sure are getting used to it with their 12th in a row.
Carter Revelle continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 210 yards and two touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Revelle was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 63 yards.
Eastern Randolph's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.9 points per game. As for Thomasville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.
Eastern Randolph will head out on the road to face off against Mount Airy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mount Airy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Thomasville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
