The home team had won the previous four meetings between Moundridge and Ell-Saline, and Moundridge kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 15-5 win on Friday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Moundridge's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Ell-Saline, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moundridge will face off against Ellinwood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.92 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ell-Saline, they will take on Sacred Heart on Monday.
