After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Patton, NCSSM: Morganton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Mitchell Mountaineers an 8-0 shutout. NCSSM: Morganton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by four goals or more this season.

They hit Mitchell with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Colette Stokas (4), Hannah Xu (3), and Sofia Poingue.

NCSSM: Morganton has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season. As for Mitchell, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.
