Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt lost against McLane two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rough Riders lost 12-4 to the Highlanders. The Rough Riders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leonardo Gonzales-Sanchez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-1. As for McLane, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-8 record.

While Roosevelt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
