Soccer Recap: Providence's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

It was a proper cat-fight when Providence faced off against Charlotte Catholic on Thursday. Providence fell just short of Charlotte Catholic by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Providence can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Charlotte Catholic are ranked second).

Providence's goal came courtesy of Bella Dragone, who's now up to 12 this season.

The loss snapped Providence's winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 7-5 record. As for Charlotte Catholic, the win keeps they at an undefeated 10-0-1.
