Softball Recap: Caldwell Comes Up Short

Caldwell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 15-3 to the Livingston Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-1 loss last Saturday.

Caldwell's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13-1. As for Livingston, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Caldwell has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against West Essex on the 19th. As for Livingston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Weehawken on the 19th.
