Basketball Recap: Lee County Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

Lee County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 75-61 victory over the Jordan-Matthews Jets. The win continues a trend for the Yellow Jackets in their matchups with the Jets: they've now won five in a row.

Lee County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nick Farrow led the charge by putting up 26 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. Farrow's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was DJ Brown, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Lee County is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Apex Friendship at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jordan-Matthews, they will head out to challenge Phoenix Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
