Volleyball Recap: Prout Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Prout lost against Portsmouth back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crusaders fell 3-1 to the Patriots. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Parker Sears and Olivia Torok, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Brooke Rutherford and her 12 assists. Torok was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Prout's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Portsmouth, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Prout will square off against rival Cranston West at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Portsmouth is set to challenge their familiar foe Chariho at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
