Center waltzed into their contest on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Creede Miners as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.
While Center won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 25-19.
Emiliana Valdez paced Center's offense, picking up ten kills. Valdez got some help from Edie Tafoya and her 25 assists. Boston Bogner controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Center's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Creede, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.
As of now, neither Center nor the Miners have any future games scheduled.
