Volleyball Recap: Melody Costigan and Rori Chenaille-Schenk Secure Win for Saranac Lake + How To Watch

Saranac Lake won the last time they faced AuSable Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Red Storm blew past the Patriots 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Storm.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Saranac Lake was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-7.

Saranac Lake was led to victory by Rori Chenaille-Schenk and Melody Costigan. Chenaille-Schenk had six digs and five aces, while Costigan had six aces. Those six aces gave Costigan a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Saranac Lake was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 29 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in ten consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Saranac Lake's win bumped their record up to 2-0.
