Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Christian Warriors vs. Parish Episcopal Panthers

Liberty Christian hasn't had much luck against Parish Episcopal recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Liberty Christian Warriors will challenge the Parish Episcopal Panthers at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Liberty Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 matches.

Last Tuesday, Liberty Christian beat Fort Worth THESA 87-76.

Easton Hupp was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 17 on his way to 24 points and three steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last 25 games he's played. Max Hinds was another key player, putting up ten points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Meanwhile, Parish Episcopal entered their tilt with Nolan Catholic on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Vikings 73-52. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Parish Episcopal pushed their record up to 25-4 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Liberty Christian, their win bumped their record up to 17-15.

Liberty Christian was taken down by Parish Episcopal 101-66 when the teams last played on January 13th. Can Liberty Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
