Baseball Recap: Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Takes a Loss

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Hinton Blackhawks. The Hawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Blackhawks from their previous meeting back in June of 2024.

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Hinton, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn has already played their next contest, a 19-2 loss against George-Little Rock on the 12th. As for Hinton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 13-1 victory against Woodbine on the 14th.
