Football Recap: Surrey Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Surrey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 36-6 defeat at the hands of the Towner-Granville-Upham Titans. The Mustangs were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Leading Towner-Granville-Upham to victory were Fynn Livedalen and Brock Lunde. Livedalen threw for 133 yards and two TDs while completing 75% of his passes, while Lunde gained 127 total yards and two touchdowns. Livedalen also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Surrey's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Towner-Granville-Upham, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Surrey will face off against Dunseith at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the Dragons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Towner-Granville-Upham, they will challenge Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Titans will be up against the Bombers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
