It was a good run, but Winchester Thurston unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 63-32 loss at the hands of the Northgate Flames. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Winchester Thurston this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-42 back in January.

Winchester Thurston's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Northgate, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Winchester Thurston will challenge Leechburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northgate, they will be playing at home against Sewickley Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northgate is on a four-game streak of home wins, Sewickley Academy a seven-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
