Malin Pantaleo produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Belvidere to the win on Monday. Rockford East had no answer to Pantaleo as he scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Pantaleo's strong effort led Belvidere over Rockford East and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Belvidere is 9-1 against Rockford East going back to May of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
