Soccer Recap: Winnetonka Takes a Loss

Winnetonka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Lone Jack Mules. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Winnetonka of the 7-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Winnetonka's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lone Jack, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winnetonka will take on Smithville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lone Jack, they will square off against Sacred Heart at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
