Baseball Recap: Morrice Victorious

After losing to Bentley the last time they met, Morrice decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Orioles walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Bulldogs on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Orioles.

The team relied heavily on Wyatt Cartier, who earned two runs and three stolen bases. He has become a key player for Morrice: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Oliver Long, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Morrice's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Bentley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
