Basketball Recap: Fort Bend Bush Falls Despite Big Games from Kambree Adams and Jadesyn Hardeman

Fort Bend Bush was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 70-49 to the Cypress Falls Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 808th, while the Eagles are ranked 94th).

Despite the loss, Fort Bend Bush had strong showings from Jadesyn Hardeman, who posted 13 points and three steals, and Kambree Adams, who put up 16 points and six rebounds. Those six rebounds gave Adams a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Niehvae Andrews, who earned two points and four steals.

Fort Bend Bush's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Cypress Falls, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Fort Bend Bush wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-42 loss against Jersey Village on the 28th. As for Cypress Falls, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-57 win against Westfield on the 28th.
