Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Collinsville). They took their matchup on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 73-29 victory over the Sumner Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Kahoks have posted since November 25, 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Collinsville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Stanley Carnahan, who went 6 for 10 en route to 18 points and six boards. What's more, Carnahan also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Jace Wilkinson, who went 7 of 17 on his way to 18 points and five rebounds.

Collinsville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

The victory got Collinsville back to even at 10-10. As for Sumner, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Collinsville will face off against McCluer at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Collinsville is facing McCluer at the right time seeing as McCluer is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. Sumner has already played their next game (against Belleville West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
