Basketball Recap: Stringtown Takes a Loss

If Stringtown was feeling good fresh off their 75-37 takedown of Caney on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colbert Leopards on Friday. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Stringtown has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season. As for Colbert, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Stringtown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-36 win against Savanna on the 10th. As for Colbert, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-45 loss against Allen on the 10th.
