Newington kept a clean sheet against Southington on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blue Knights. Give Newington's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Newington's victory bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Southington, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5-2.
