Providence extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 12-5 in the process. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Jeffersonville Red Devils a 12-0 shutout. Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence will face off against Bedford North Lawrence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Pioneers have won three straight at home, while the Stars won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Jeffersonville, they will challenge Silver Creek at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
