Softball Recap: Seton Catholic Central Takes a Loss

Seton Catholic Central came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Oneonta Yellowjackets, falling 26-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Saints in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost nine in a row.

Shannon Mentz made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Seton Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Oneonta, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.

As of now, neither Seton Catholic Central nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
