Basketball Game Preview: Washington Tigers vs. Olmsted Falls Bulldogs

The Washington Tigers will take on the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Olmsted Falls likes a good challenge.

Washington is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on Cleveland Heights with a sharp 79-53 win. Washington has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Olmsted Falls won against Austintown-Fitch on Saturday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Olmsted Falls beat Austintown-Fitch by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 61-43. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Falcons are ranked 223rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Olmsted Falls has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. Washington's victory bumped their record up to 21-3.
