Softball Preview: Catholic Central Irish vs. Cedarville Indians
For the second straight game, Catholic Central will face off against Cedarville. The Irish will welcome the Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Catholic Central comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
The home team had won the previous three meetings between Catholic Central and Cedarville, and Cedarville kept the tradition alive. The Irish came up short against the Indians on Monday, falling 14-2.
For Cedarville's part, Joscelyn Evans made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Cedarville moved to 9-10 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Catholic Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
