Leroy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Millry Wildcats 18-3 on Friday. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by six runs or more this season.

Leroy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Millry, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-11-1.

Millry has already played their next contest, a 15-2 victory against Fruitdale on the 25th. Hopefully Leroy paid attention to the Wildcats' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
