The Walnut Ridge Scots will head out to challenge the Madison Christian Eagles at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Walnut Ridge has given up an average of 3.7 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Walnut Ridge is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Thursday. They came up short against Beechcroft, falling 6-3.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Madison Christian never let Liberty Christian Academy get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

Walnut Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-2. As for Madison Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-4-1.

Everything went Walnut Ridge's way against Madison Christian in their previous meeting back in September of 2021, as Walnut Ridge made off with a 5-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Scots since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
