Recap: Compass Charter Aviators vs. New Plymouth Pilgrims
The Compass Charter Aviators's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 79-30 defeat at the hands of New Plymouth. Compass Charter has not had much luck with New Plymouth recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Compass Charter lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Beau Bristol, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds. Bristol set a new season high mark in steals with two. Another player making a difference was Kellen Walbuck, who scored four points.
Compass Charter now has a losing record at 3-4. As for New Plymouth, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Compass Charter won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Idaho City at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. Idaho City is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. New Plymouth will finish 2023 at home by hosting Ontario at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th.
