Basketball Game Preview: Warrensburg Tigers vs. St. Michael the Archangel Guardians

After both having extra time off, the Warrensburg Tigers and the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Warrensburg is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 68-58 to Rockwood Summit last Thursday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Meanwhile, St. Michael the Archangel lost to Saint Thomas Aquinas on the road by a 78-63 margin back in December of 2024.

St. Michael the Archangel's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Warrensburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Warrensburg strolled past St. Michael the Archangel when the teams last played back in February of 2018 by a score of 69-53. Will Warrensburg repeat their success, or does St. Michael the Archangel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
