Baseball Recap: Logan Triumphs

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Logan walked away with it. They never let the Delta Rabbits get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Grizzlies: when they faced off against the Rabbits on Thursday, they had to take a 5-2 loss.

The result came thanks to Marcus Shopbell's shutout, as he gave up just six hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Logan let Zac Stuart and Rylee Hoth run wild. Stuart went 2-for-3 with two runs and two doubles, while Hoth went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits Hoth has posted since back in March.

Logan's victory bumped their record up to 7-17. As for Delta, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-8.

Logan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rabbits: the pair will be back at it again later today.
