Branson Tingley and Kendall Morris made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Tingley pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Morris struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Tingley has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Tingley went 4-for-5 with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles, while Morris went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Those four RBI gave Tingley a new career-high.

In other batting news, Ben Bridges was a standout: he got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, two RBI, and one double. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Blayzz Verdeyen, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .689. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
North Clay/Clay City came out on top against Charleston on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run seventh inning. North Clay/Clay City was the clear victor by an 8-2 margin over Charleston. Winning may never get old, but North Clay/Clay City sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Jack Compton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits.
On the hitting side, Ian Jones was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Carder Walden was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run.
Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's record is now 9-2. As for North Clay/Clay City, their record now sits at 14-4.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .328. However, it's not like North Clay/Clay City struggles in that department as they've averaged .339. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
