It was a good run, but Buford unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Aynor Blue Jackets.

Aynor found their leader in sophomore Mia Cole, who had 11 digs and three assists. Cole has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last four times she's played. Bella Johnson also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Buford's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Aynor, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Buford has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Camden on the 20th. As for Aynor, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Ben Lippen on the 20th.
