Basketball Game Preview: Delcastle Technical Cougars vs. Conrad Science Red Wolves

The Delcastle Technical Cougars will face off against the Conrad Science Red Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Delcastle Technical took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They secured a 62-58 W over Howard. The win was all the more spectacular given the Cougars' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Delaware basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Wildcats are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, Conrad Science had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Saturday. They strolled past the Hillers with points to spare, taking the game 63-45. 63 seems to be a good number for the Red Wolves as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Conrad Science pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points over those games. As for Delcastle Technical, their victory bumped their record up to 5-15.
