The Highland Huskies will face off against the Forge Christian Fury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Highland is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Platte Valley on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Huskies came up short against the Broncos, falling 35-14. It was the first time this season that the Huskies let down their fans at home.

Tyler Varra put forth a good effort for the losing side as he threw for 200 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 47 yards and one touchdown. 81 of Varra's passing yards were hauled in by Daryan Shaw, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Meanwhile, Forge Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 43.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They really took it to the Thunder for the full four quarters, racking up a 42-7 victory.
