Softball Recap: Tyler Legacy Victorious

Tyler Legacy's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Independence Knights by a score of 5-2.

Tyler Legacy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrie Kirk, who went a perfect2-for-2 with three RBI and two doubles. ReNaa Hicks was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Tyler Legacy's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Independence, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Tyler Legacy will square off against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Independence, they will take on Irving at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.
