Volleyball Recap: Leander Lions vs. Liberty Hill Panthers
Leander lost against Liberty Hill back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered since October 22, 2024.
While Leander had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 25-20.

When it comes to explaining why Leander lost, don't look at Emma Davis. Despite the final result, she had 23 digs and nine assists. Davis is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Sierra Lumbreras was another key player, getting 11 digs and two aces.
Liberty Hill found their leader in sophomore Summer Snyder, who had 13 digs and two assists.
