Basketball Recap: Centralia Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Centralia won the last time they faced Onaga and things went their way on Friday too. The Centralia Panthers strolled past the Onaga Buffaloes with points to spare, taking the game 64-45. The Panthers pushed the score to 55-33 by the end of the third, a deficit the Buffaloes cut but never quite recovered from.

Onaga lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Casen Hutfles, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keagan Venneberg, who made all 5 shots he took to post 10 points.

Centralia's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points over those games.
