Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Gavin Bailey stepped things up a notch to give Thomas Jefferson Academy the 'W'. Bailey was dynamite, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Bailey's strong effort led Thomas Jefferson Academy over John Hancock Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Thomas Jefferson Academy is a perfect 10-0 against John Hancock Academy going back to March of 2023, a lead they'll look to extend.
