Tucker County has gone 8-2 against East Hardy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Tucker County Mountain Lions will jump right back in to play the East Hardy Cougars at 9:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Tucker County sitting on seven straight victories and East Hardy on 11.

Tucker County is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 59-47 win over Magnolia. Given the Mountain Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Blue Eagles are ranked 62nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, East Hardy strolled past Clay-Battelle with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 51-34.

East Hardy's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points over those games. As for Tucker County, their win bumped their record up to 20-2.
