Volleyball Recap: Plainfield Starts Season with Victory at Home

Plainfield took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cascade Cadets with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Quakers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Plainfield took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Taylor Donovan, who had nine digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September of 2024.

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Plainfield has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Whiteland on the 19th. As for Cascade, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Mooresville on the 20th.
