Volleyball Recap: Kuna Takes a Loss

Kuna extended their losing streak to seven on Wednesday, dropping them down to 2-9. They lost 3-0 to the Boise Brave. The Kavemen were not able to make up for their loss to the Brave from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Afton McRae paced Kuna's offense, picking up six kills. McRae got some help from Ruby Rausch and her 15 assists. Sam McClellan controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

As for Boise, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4. The game marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Katelyn Huck had an outrageously good game as she had 15 digs and five assists. Kamryn Newberry was another key player, getting eight digs and six aces.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Kuna will take on rival Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Boise is set to challenge their familiar foe Mountain View at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
