Victoria Gators HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Corpus Christi United Watchmen, falling 72-39. One positive for the Gators, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Corpus Christi United to victory were Josh Lindsey and Ben Lopez. Lindsey dropped a double-double on 31 points and 13 rebounds, while Lopez dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. Lindsey's afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Teratino Cleveland was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Victoria Gators HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Corpus Christi United, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Victoria Gators HomeSchool is taking a road trip to take on St. Paul at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Corpus Christi United, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against WINGS Homeschool Athletics at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Corpus Christi United is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.4 points per game this season.
