Softball Game Preview: Midlothian Heritage Jaguars vs. University Trojans

For the second straight game, Midlothian Heritage will face off against University. The Jaguars will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Trojans at 1:00 p.m. Midlothian Heritage is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 15 games.

Midlothian Heritage is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past University 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Jaguars have posted since March 7th.

Taylor Bilderback was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two triples, and three runs. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Rylee Parrish was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Midlothian Heritage was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in 14 consecutive games.
