Soccer Game Preview: Mariner vs. Palmetto Ridge

The Mariner Tritons will face off against the Palmetto Ridge Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Mariner will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

On Monday, Mariner made easy work of LaBelle and carried off a 4-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tritons, who have now won five matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Palmetto Ridge has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They and Lely finished up their game with a 1-1 draw on Monday.

Palmetto Ridge's goal came courtesy of Christopher Ramirez, who's now up to four this season.

Palmetto Ridge's draw gives them a new season record of 0-6-4. As for Mariner, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0.

Mariner beat Palmetto Ridge by a goal in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 2-1. Does Mariner have another victory up their sleeve, or will Palmetto Ridge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
