Basketball Recap: Baldwin Piles Up the Points Against Beach + How To Watch

Baldwin had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 30-point drubbing they dealt Beach on Saturday. The Braves simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bulldogs 73-43. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Braves also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Karez Demory had a dynamite game, shooting 67% from the field on his way to 20 points in addition to five boards and five steals. His big performance that afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jared Mundie, who posted 11 points.

Baldwin was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beach only racked up seven.

Despite the loss, Beach still got an impressive performance from Jordan Newton, who went 5-for-7 en route to 11 points and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, Newton now owns an excellent 45.2% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Liddell, who scored six points.

The victory was the third in a row for Baldwin, bringing their record up to 3-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 68.0 points this season. As for Beach, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Baldwin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 86-28 victory against West Laurens on the 2nd. As for Beach, they have also already played their next game, a 50-47 win against Liberty County on the 5th.
