Football Game Preview: Bradford Tornadoes vs. Newberry Panthers + How To Watch

The Bradford Tornadoes will take on the Newberry Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Newberry will be up against a hot Bradford team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Tornadoes blew past Palatka 36-0 on Friday. Given the Tornadoes' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Panthers are ranked 303rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Newberry made easy work of Santa Fe on Friday and carried off a 27-7 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Bradford's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Newberry, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Bradford ended up a good deal behind Newberry in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, losing 34-19. Can the Tornadoes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
