Hartselle put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Woodlawn Colonels, posting a 48-8 win. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 21st, while the Colonels are ranked 172nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Carter Lee produced another solid performance rushing for 24 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also throwing for 107 yards and one TD while completing 85.7% of his passes.

Hartselle's record now sits at 5-0. As for Woodlawn, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hartselle will square off against Cullman at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. As for Woodlawn, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jackson-Olin at 7:00 p.m. on the 9th.
