Peoria is 1-9 against Cactus since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Panthers will look to defend their home court against the Cobras at 6:00 p.m. Peoria will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Peoria picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Copper Canyon.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cactus, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past Agua Fria 3-0 on Wednesday. The Cobras haven't had any issues with the Owls recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cactus was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-12.

Cactus' win came from a few key players Peoria will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Faith Connell, who had ten digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Cactus was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. They are a perfect 14-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Peoria's win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Cactus, their victory bumped their record up to 16-3.
