Baseball Recap: Bend's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

After flying high against Littleton last Tuesday, Bend came back down to earth. The Lava Bears lost 10-4 to the Apollo Hawks on Wednesday. The contest marked the Lava Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bend saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Cooper, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Cooper hit this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bend fell to 4-1. As for Apollo, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Bend has already played their next matchup, a 12-7 victory against Westview on the 27th. As for Apollo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-4 defeat against Glenbrook North on the 28th.
